Texas' Largest Ethnic Groups


Texas is the second largest state by population, and also has the country's 2nd largest economy by state. It's a magnet for immigrants, as seen in the diversity of the state's ethnic groups. Mexican-Americans are the largest ethnic group, with one-third of Texans having a Mexican ancestry.
