New Mexico's Largest Ethnic Groups

Bordering Mexico has a strong influence on New Mexico. It reflects in the state's very name, and Mexican-Americans form the New Mexico's largest ethnic group. Also noteworthy is the Navajo community: this Native American tribe is the state's 5th largest ethnicity.
