Iraqi's had a presence in the United States long before any talk of a Muslim immigrant ban. California is home to the largest number of Iraqis citizens. Michigan has the highest percentage. Nebraska also has a large number of Iraqi immigrants, most notably Yazidi refugees escaping ISIS terrorism.
